Basics For Residental Vastu

- Bedroom: The master bedroom is best located in the southwest direction, while other bedrooms can be in the northwest or southeast.
- Kitchen: The kitchen should be placed in the southeast corner of the house. The cook should face east while preparing meals.
- Living Room: The living room is best situated in the northeast, north, or east direction.
- Toilets and Bathrooms: These should be located in the northwest or southeast corners of the house. Avoid placing them in the center, northeast, or southwest corners.
- Staircases: Staircases should be built in the southwest or northwest direction and should ascend in a clockwise direction.
- Colors: Choose soothing and balanced colors for different rooms based on their directions. For example, light shades in the north and east, and warmer tones in the southwest.
